Promoting Growth for Pre A. P. Students

1. Read two books that could help you in your career, interests or personal life.
(ex. The Peace Book, Having Hard Conversations, Life of the Incas)
2. Answer this question for each book: What benefits or experiences did the book give you, and how will you use the information to better your or another's life? (Use examples and details from the book - at least 3 - to prove your points)
3. Answer this question keeping BOTH books in mind: What parallels, imagery, contradictions, symbolism, do both these books represent for your life? (How do this two books, in some way, define or not define you. Look at them as a unit, not separately.)
4. Creatively write a short response using prezi, glogster, google docs/ presentations and comment a short blog introduction including the url to your work.

Question 1: 10 points, Question 2: 10 points, Interest: 5 creativity: 5 points, Depth of information: 5 points, Grammar: 5, - Total: 40 points

Hey Sophomores, if you are creating a google doc make sure it is published to the web so all can see your work without modifying! If you are using Glogster, make sure you save and publish publicly. A lot of times Glogster is set as a private default. I think Prezi just has a regular URL (web address).

These books represent me by me always wanting to improve my life by a person. The main goal that I got out of these books is to have confidence. One book is going to help me with softball. The other is dealing with teenage situations and emotions.

The two books i read was The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by john c. maxwell and Tree identification by Gorge w. symond. Both of these books were help full to me and they could help any one else out if they need help on how to be a better leader or how to identify trees

I found some pretty helpful books. They have given me some pretty helpful information. If you face procrastination, or poor lyrical content, you should definitely read these books.

If you take everything that you have for granted, then you need to read the two books, Hatchet and Brian's Winter by Gary Paulsen. I almost guarantee that your outlook on things will turn upside down after you read these books. These two books were very helpful to my outlook on things and I know they can be to yours as well.
